Virtuix Inc. (NASDAQ: VTIX) is poised for further expansion following its recent initial public offering, according to CEO Jan Goetgeluk. In an interview on Benzinga's All Access, Goetgeluk discussed the company's triple-digit growth and the strategic use of fresh capital to scale operations and enter new sectors.
Goetgeluk reported that Virtuix achieved 138% year-over-year growth, driven primarily by its Omni One VR treadmill gaming system. The system allows players to physically move through virtual worlds, offering an immersive experience that also promotes physical activity. Goetgeluk noted that one customer lost 40 pounds in four months using the system. “It's an exciting time for us,” he said. “We reported 138% year-over-year growth. So we’re growing and we are ready to scale.”
The company's IPO proceeds, combined with an $11 million investment from Chicago Venture Partners and a $50 million equity line of credit, will fund growth initiatives and market expansion. Goetgeluk highlighted plans to enter the defense sector, among other markets. The full interview is available on YouTube.
