Verizon, the Official Telecommunication Services Sponsor for FIFA World Cup 2026, has announced its largest free ticket giveaway for Verizon customers, with over 2,500 tickets to be released on June 1 at 3:00 PM ET. The tickets span all 64 matches across every U.S. host city, and hundreds of "Golden Tickets" will provide pitchside access. The giveaway is available exclusively through Verizon Access in the My Verizon app on a first-come, first-served basis, with customers limited to claiming tickets for games within 150 miles of their home address. To mark the occasion, Verizon debuted a new commercial featuring David Beckham, highlighting how Verizon provides "Ultimate Access" to the tournament.
Leslie Berland, Chief Marketing Officer at Verizon, emphasized the company's commitment to delivering exceptional experiences. "This is our biggest FIFA World Cup ticket drop yet for the most highly anticipated sporting event. And with perks like Fox One, we're making it easy for our customers to watch the game," she said. The ticket drop is optimized for local fans, as travel and accommodation are not included. Matches are scheduled across time zones, with Pacific Time cities like Seattle, Los Angeles, and San Francisco at 12 PM PT; Central Time cities like Kansas City, Dallas, and Houston at 2 PM CT; and East Coast cities including Boston, Atlanta, New York New Jersey, Miami, and Philadelphia at 3 PM ET.
In addition to the ticket giveaway, Verizon is enhancing the viewing experience with the FOX One perk. New Verizon Home Internet customers can get three months of FOX One on us, while myPlan customers can add it as a monthly perk for $15/month, saving nearly $5 off the standard retail price. FOX One provides live and on-demand content of sports, news, and entertainment.
Verizon is also powering the FIFA World Cup 2026 with advanced 5G and fiber technology, delivering connectivity upgrades across all host stadiums and Fan Festivals.
