Upside Gold Corp. (CSE: UG) (FSE: 47I) (OTCQB: UGODF) has announced results from a comprehensive compilation of historic exploration data at its Kena Gold-Copper Property in southeastern British Columbia, highlighting the potential for a significantly larger mineralized system than previously recognized. The work, which integrated geological, geophysical, and geochemical data spanning from 1974 to the present, outlines a mineralized trend extending at least seven kilometers along strike and remains open in multiple directions and at depth.

The historic mineral resource at Kena includes an indicated 0.561 million ounces of gold (32.1 million tonnes at 0.544 g/t Au) and an inferred 2.77 million ounces of gold (177.5 million tonnes at 0.486 g/t Au). However, the new compilation suggests that these resources may only represent a portion of the total mineralized system. Multiple priority gold-copper drill targets have been identified for the 2026 program, including the potential to define a second major mineralized zone within the Kena Copper Zone.

During the compilation of the drillhole database, the company discovered that over 90% of historic drilling included multi-element analyses, but only gold results were previously recorded. Silver and copper data were systematically extracted from digital and analog certificates, revealing copper values up to 71,800 ppm and silver values up to 145 ppm. This additional data is expected to demonstrate significant potential value within the project.

The integration of mapped geology, structural interpretation, and geophysical surveys supports the conclusion that mineralization is structurally controlled by the Kena Deformation Zone, a hydrothermally altered fault zone traceable for at least 11 kilometers. Induced polarization surveys have identified zones of high chargeability and low resistivity that extend the known mineralized strike length to at least seven kilometers, with similar anomalies along the northeastern margin.

Historic drilling outside the current resource has returned wide intervals of gold and copper mineralization, including 117 meters of 0.22% Cu and 0.14 g/t Au in the Kena Copper Zone, and 90 meters of 0.9 g/t Au in the South Gold Zone. The addition of soil survey data to the exploration model is consistent with the geological model, showing copper and gold anomalies associated with favorable IP and magnetic signatures.

The company plans to focus its 2026 diamond drilling on testing along strike to the southeast within the Kena Copper Zone, aiming to demonstrate sufficient continuity and grade to define a second major mineralized zone. The work also supports the belief that the mineralized system extends across much of the southern half of the property, which has never undergone diamond drilling.
