The rebranding, effective immediately, reflects the firm's dedication to honoring the Underwood family's longstanding history of serving Albany, GA, and the surrounding communities.
William F. 'Trey' Underwood, III, the firm's lead attorney, stated that the name change acknowledges the legacy of his father, William F. 'Bill' Underwood, Jr., who founded the firm in 1974. 'Shortening the name to Underwood Law LLC embodies the lasting legacy of Underwood service to the good people of Southwest Georgia,' Trey Underwood said. 'It also reflects the premium my father placed on putting people over profits.' Bill Underwood passed away in 2010, but his principles continue to guide the firm.
