Trailbreaker Completes First-Ever Drilling at Coho Porphyry Target, Assays Pending

Trailbreaker Resources Ltd. has completed its Phase One diamond drill program at the Coho Property in central British Columbia, marking the first time the Coho Zone itself has been drilled. The program consisted of seven holes totalling 2,667 metres, testing an area of 1,000 by 800 metres and a vertical extent of 474 metres. The 8,000-hectare property is a copper-gold porphyry target located 90 kilometres north of Fort St. James and 30 kilometres west of the Mt. Milligan porphyry deposit, and is road accessible via a network of Forest Service Roads and logging roads.

The significance of the program lies in its targeting: the Coho Zone hosts recently identified coincident induced polarization (IP) chargeability and resistivity anomalies associated with high-grade gold and copper values from surface rock grab samples, yet had never been drill tested. Trailbreaker also completed a concurrent IP survey of four east-west lines totalling fourteen line-kilometres, and used preliminary results to site one hole, CH-26-07, on a deep chargeability high and interpreted structure 500 metres north of the King showing. Other holes targeted a sizable 400 by 800 metre chargeability and resistivity feature, the Chinook showing where historic channel samples returned 0.08 g/t gold and 0.29% copper over 11.4 metres, and an east-west fault. A total of 1,415 drill core samples, including standard reference material and blanks, were submitted to Bureau Veritas' lab in Vancouver, with assay results expected in late 2026 or early 2027.

President and CEO Daithi Mac Gearailt framed the completion as part of a broader pipeline. "With assay results expected soon from diamond drilling of our Highlands gold and Swan copper-molybdenum porphyry targets, both within the Atsutla Project in northwestern BC, Trailbreaker is well positioned to provide a steady flow of news through the remainder of 2026 and early 2027," he said. The company also reported that a June 2026 surface exploration program at the Masu Zone, along Coho's western boundary, targeted the potential eastward extension of the "A Zone" on the adjoining Trident Property, where drilling returned 240.0 m of 0.64% Cu, 0.41 g/t Au, and 2.8 g/t silver (Ag). Results from the Masu program are being compiled. For more information about the Coho Property, the company points to its link to presentation.

At the Atsutla Gold Project in northwestern BC, Trailbreaker completed a six-hole, 1,684-metre program in early August 2026, as detailed in its August 10, 2026 news release. The program tested the Highlands Zone, a high-grade vein-hosted gold target, and the Swan Zone, a copper-gold-silver-molybdenum porphyry target, spaced 26 kilometres apart. Assays remain pending. The company subsequently contracted Eagle Mapping for a property-wide airborne LiDAR survey to aid mapping of lithologies, veins, faults, geological contacts and dikes, and engaged Aurora Geosciences Ltd. to complete an independent NI 43-101 technical report replacing one filed in December 2022. Investors can review drill collar details in Table 2 and the Highlands and Swan drill plan maps in Figure 3 and Figure 4. The original release is available via www.newmediawire.com.
