Teton Expeditions has relaunched in Jackson Hole with a new campaign, 'See It Together,' designed to reshape how multi-generational families experience Grand Teton and Yellowstone National Parks. Re-founded by Jeff Tibbitts and Evan Toal, the company brings over 50 combined years of guiding and wildlife interpretation to craft tours that prioritize connection over transactions.
The company's origins trace back to the 1970s, when David Tibbitts, Jeff's father, established a guiding philosophy rooted in knowledge, humility, patience, and respect for the land. This legacy influences Teton Expeditions' approach today. 'We know what it looks like when this is done right,' said co-founder Evan Toal. 'We built this company around that vision.'
Teton Expeditions offers half-day and full-day guided wildlife tours of Grand Teton and Yellowstone, with pickup and drop-off throughout the Jackson Hole area. Tours are designed for small groups, families, and multi-generational travelers seeking a personal way to explore the parks. The 'See It Together' campaign emphasizes shared experiences, such as a child seeing a moose for the first time or grandparents watching bison across a valley.
'The parks are for everyone,' said co-founder Jeff Tibbitts. 'But not everyone experiences them the same way. We want families, older travelers, and first-time visitors to feel comfortable, curious, and included from the moment they step into the vehicle.' Tours are intentionally paced, with guides chosen for their depth of knowledge, character, and ability to connect across generations. Many guides have backgrounds in natural history, science education, and wildlife interpretation.
For families, this means the natural world is accessible at every age. For older travelers, there are no rushed itineraries or crowded buses. Each tour is built around connection to the land, wildlife, guide, and travel companions. The Greater Yellowstone ecosystem is one of the most significant wild landscapes in North America, home to grizzly bears, wolves, bison, elk, moose, and more. Teton Expeditions helps guests understand the broader story of geology, conservation, and stewardship.
'Every family that spends a day in the parks with one of our guides is a potential steward,' Tibbitts said. 'Every kid who sees a moose cross a river for the first time is a future advocate. That is what this is really about.' Teton Expeditions is currently booking tours for the 2026 season, with half-day and full-day wildlife tours available for both parks. Private tours and group rates are offered for families, multi-generational travel parties, and special occasions. Reservations are available at tetonexpeditions.com.
