A recent survey by LogicMark, Inc. (OTC: LGMK) reveals that safety concerns are actively limiting the daily lives of many women, particularly those aged 18 to 25. The survey found that 44% of women in that age group reported moderate to significant limitations to their activities due to fears for their personal safety. Overall, 38% of all women surveyed said safety concerns restrict their daily routines, from avoiding certain routes and travel to skipping social events and altering fitness habits.
These findings underscore a hidden cost of feeling unsafe: a gradual erosion of mobility, independence, and quality of life. When safety anxiety dictates where women can go, when they leave, or how they get home, it limits not just movement but opportunity. Career paths requiring late hours or travel become less accessible, fitness routines are adjusted or abandoned, and social lives shrink as spontaneity is replaced with constant calculation.
The survey also highlighted that over half of the women have experienced situations where they felt unsafe, with younger women reporting repeated incidents. Yet when they needed help, many found that traditional safety devices—like personal sirens, pepper spray, or heavy flashlights—were impractical to carry or unable to contact emergency services.
