Superior Ink, a leading screen-printing and apparel production company based in Colorado, has announced a new community initiative named "Built for the Community." The program, unveiled in November 2025, will provide one local small business each month with a batch of 12 custom-designed shirts, free of charge, to help promote brand growth and local pride.
The initiative is focused on businesses in the Colorado Springs or Fountain region. Each month, Superior Ink's creative team will design, print, and deliver the custom apparel to the selected business. The company's founder and CEO, Dominic Rosacci, emphasized that the program is about more than just merchandise. "When we relocated to Fountain, our goal was not just to establish a facility - we aimed to integrate into the community," Rosacci said in a statement. "This initiative represents our commitment to giving back, utilizing our expertise to uplift other small businesses."
The first recipient of the program is Happy Hour Donuts, a donut shop in Fountain known for its innovative flavors and welcoming atmosphere. Superior Ink has created a custom graphic tee inspired by the shop's branding and will deliver a dozen shirts this month. In addition to the apparel, Superior Ink plans to feature each selected business on its social media platforms, website, and newsletters, helping them reach new customers and share their stories.
"Merchandise is impactful - it tells a story that can be worn," Rosacci remarked. "When a local business is given a tangible means to share their narrative, it generates a ripple effect that benefits the entire community."
