Storagely 3.0.1 Rebuild Signals a Shift in Self-Storage Website Management

Storagely, a website platform built for self-storage operators, has announced Storagely 3.0.1, a complete rebuild of its platform and the largest release in the company's history. The announcement comes as the self-storage industry evolves, with operators facing new constraints and demanding more from their website infrastructure. The rebuild is not just another feature update but a new architecture designed exclusively around how operators run their businesses.

Austin Simmons, who became CEO in April 2026, explained the motivation behind the rebuild: "Operators have been telling us the same three things for years. They want to be more hands-on, not stuck behind a support ticket. They want to launch a new location in days, not weeks. And they want each facility to be able to stand out in its own market. We stopped just adding features and decided it's time to rebuild around those pain points."

The new platform introduces two key tools: FLEX and ATLAS. FLEX is a drag-and-drop editor that allows operators to edit any block, swap layouts, and publish new pages in minutes without needing a developer. ATLAS, the new Location Profile Manager, centralizes all location details—address, hours, pricing, photos, unit types, amenities—into a single source of truth that automatically updates the website. The new ATLAS Google Profile sync means that a simple edit to a Google Business profile can update location details directly on the website. Together, these tools give operators more control and allow each facility to have its own identity instead of a one-size-fits-all approach.

Launch velocity is another major improvement. New sites can launch in weeks rather than months, and new locations can come online in days rather than weeks. This speed allows operators to stay agile and make quick decisions. Performance has also been enhanced with modern architecture, faster load times across mobile and desktop, better page speed scores, and infrastructure that scales from a single store to hundreds of locations. The platform also includes a newly imagined one-page checkout with upgrades like a merch shop and other upsell options.

Simmons, previously COO, led the rebuild in close partnership with Founder and Executive Chairman Brian Leimone, whose technical vision continues to drive the platform. Leimone commented, "For years I've watched Austin grow from someone I believed in, into the leader Storagely needs today. 3.0.1 begins a new era for the company, and he's the right person to lead it."

The implications for self-storage operators are significant. In a competitive market, the ability to quickly launch and customize websites, maintain accurate location data, and provide a seamless online experience can be a differentiator. Storagely's rebuild addresses these needs directly, potentially setting a new standard for website platforms in the industry.

Storagely will showcase 3.0.1 at the SSA Fall Conference & Trade Show from September 8th to 11th at the Aria Resort & Casino in Las Vegas, at Booth #1233. Meetings can be booked in advance at storagely.io/schedule-a-demo. For more information, visit storagely.io.
