Steyr Motors Proposes Rolf Wirtz and Gerhard Schwartz for Supervisory Board

Steyr Motors AG (ISIN AT0000A3FW25), a global leader in customized engines for mission-critical defense and civil applications, announced plans to appoint new members to its Supervisory Board. The company proposes Rolf Wirtz and Gerhard Schwartz, two experienced industry and capital market experts, for election at the Annual General Meeting on 10 April 2026.

The move follows the sale of the entire stake held by former major shareholder Mutares SE & Co. KGaA in November 2025, which led to the departure of previous Supervisory Board members Dr. Christian Klingler and Fabian Schlegel, representatives of Mutares. Their terms will end at the close of the Annual General Meeting.

Rolf Wirtz, former CEO of TKMS until 2022, brings extensive defense industry expertise and international management experience. He is set to become Chairman of the Supervisory Board, supporting the Management Board in expanding business in military and civil sectors. Gerhard Schwartz, a financial expert with a long career as an auditor and tax advisor, most recently managing partner at EY, is designated to head the audit committee and help strengthen financial and control functions.

The company also proposes the re-election of Alexander Fitzka, Investment Manager of the B&C Group, who has served on the Supervisory Board since August 2025. Julian Cassutti, CEO of Steyr Motors, expressed confidence in the new proposed members, stating they will provide optimal support and supervision for the company's growth trajectory. He thanked outgoing members for their cooperative work.

The Annual General Meeting will take place on 10 April 2026 at 10 a.m. in Steyr. Relevant documents are available on the Steyr Motors AG website in the Investor Relations section at ir.steyr-motors.com.
