Training has also expanded alongside system adoption, with approximately 2,100 physicians completing training on the SSi Mantra platform. This is an important consideration for robotic surgery systems, as physician education and clinical familiarity often influence hospital purchasing decisions and long-term utilization. SS Innovations describes the SSi Mantra as a modular, multi-arm robotic surgery platform designed to support multiple surgical specialties. Its instrument portfolio includes more than 40 robotic surgical instruments, including smaller 5-millimeter instruments intended for pediatric and ear, nose, and throat procedures.
