Rogers, Shea & Spanos announced that Partner George Spanos and Attorney Laura Blum have been selected as Co-Chairs for the 2026 Tennessee Trial Lawyers Association (TTLA) Domestic Law Forum. The event will take place on April 2, 2026, at the Hilton Hotel in Franklin, Tennessee, bringing together legal professionals from across the state to discuss pressing issues in family law.
In addition to his leadership role, Spanos will serve as a featured speaker at the forum. A Board-Certified Family Trial Law Advocate, he will share his expertise in complex domestic litigation. "We are honored to lead this year's Domestic Law Forum," said Spanos. "The TTLA is a vital organization for protecting the rights of Tennessee families, and this forum provides a critical platform for attorneys to stay at the forefront of evolving family law statutes and trial strategies."
Blum, who has co-chaired the forum since 2019, brings extensive experience in high-conflict custody and appellate work. "Collaborating with the TTLA to curate a curriculum that addresses the most pressing issues in domestic law is a privilege," said Blum. "Our goal is to provide practitioners with the tools they need to achieve the best possible outcomes for their clients during some of life's most challenging moments."
The 2026 TTLA Domestic Law Forum will offer a full day of Continuing Legal Education (CLE) credits, focusing on practical strategies, legislative updates, and advanced advocacy techniques in family law. This announcement underscores the importance of ongoing professional development for attorneys handling domestic cases, as laws and strategies continue to evolve.
Spanos is a Partner at Rogers, Shea & Spanos and sits on the Executive Board of the TTLA. He has chaired the TTLA Domestic Legislation Committee since 2018 and was recently elected to the Tennessee Bar Association's Family Law Executive Council. He is a Rule 31 Family Law Mediator and has been recognized as a "Rising Star" by Super Lawyers. Blum is a graduate of the Nashville School of Law, a Rule 31 Mediator, and an active member of the John Marshall Inns of Court and the Lawyers' Association for Women.
