SNAH Healthcare Launches Senior Transportation Partnership with West Haven, CT

SNAH Healthcare has officially launched a new partnership with the City of West Haven, Connecticut, to provide non-emergency medical transportation (NEMT) and senior center shuttle services. The program, which began following a competitive municipal bidding process, aims to build a transportation model centered on trust, safety, and efficiency for government-funded services.

Under the partnership, SNAH will operate daily shuttles to the West Haven Senior Center and designated grocery shopping locations for residents. The company emphasizes a person-centered approach, with trained drivers offering door-to-door assistance for seniors with mobility challenges. This hands-on service combines compassionate customer care with technological tools to ensure accountability.

Every SNAH vehicle used in West Haven will be equipped with front and back-facing cameras to create a complete visual record of each trip, enhancing safety for both passengers and drivers. Real-time GPS tracking will allow the city to monitor service delivery, including route compliance, timeliness, and resource utilization. This transparency addresses common concerns about fraud and misuse of public funds in NEMT programs.

“We acknowledge and understand that municipalities have a fiduciary obligation to their taxpayers,” said Paulina Wierzbicka, President of SNAH Healthcare. “Our technology and processes are intended to enhance municipalities’ control and verification processes, and therefore, will not provide a 'black box' environment for our partners.” SNAH will provide performance reports and tools for independent monitoring, ensuring the city has full visibility into operations.

The launch in West Haven reflects SNAH’s experience in managing publicly funded transportation and home-care programs. The company is pursuing additional bid opportunities nationwide, offering what it describes as a secure, transparent partnership that prioritizes community needs while protecting taxpayer investments.
