SKYX Platforms Corp. (NASDAQ: SKYX), a developer of advanced and smart home platform technologies, has signed a strategic partnership agreement with prominent European hotel and real estate developer Jean-François Ott, founder of Group OTT. The collaboration will deploy SKYX's technologies as a brand standard across Group OTT's existing and future hotels and buildings throughout Europe.
Over the past 35 years, France-based Group OTT has developed more than 250 hospitality, residential, and commercial buildings valued at over $4 billion. Under the agreement, SKYX's technologies are expected to reduce up to 90% of time and cost during renovations and new builds, while enhancing safety and smart capabilities.
SKYX's patented "smart ceiling" technology replaces fixed electrical wiring for ceiling lights, fans, and smart devices with an integrated receptacle system. This innovation simplifies installation, reduces costs, and enables native integration of connected features. The approach is described as a paradigm shift in building infrastructure, comparable to the historical emergence of standardized wall outlets.
