(Shenzhen Stock Exchange: 301047.SZ) has announced the accelerated availability and development of critical research tools for Nipah virus (NiV) in response to recent reports of infections in West Bengal, India. The move aims to support the global scientific community in combating this high-mortality pathogen, which the World Health Organization (WHO) classifies as a priority pathogen due to its epidemic potential and fatality rate of 40% to 75%.

Nipah virus, a member of the Paramyxoviridae family, currently has no approved vaccines or specific antiviral treatments, making the demand for high-quality, biologically active reagents critical for developing effective countermeasures.
