The Forest of Darkness offers a haunted walk along the Salt River, where specters of death lurk among the trees. Before the official October season begins, Scarefest is hosting two exclusive special event weekends geared toward adults 21 and over. On September 18 and 19, from 7 PM to midnight, Ghouls Night Out will offer a unique twist on "girls night out," featuring a "Sip & Shop" local artisan vendor show with wine tastings, mixology demonstrations, crafts, and Zumba. The following weekend, September 25 and 26, BBQ, Bourbon & Boos will combine the crisp night air with the warmth of aged oak and hickory smoke. This event will feature a live band, local bourbon and whiskey tastings, and a selection of barbecue foods.
