The Rotary Club of Boca Raton Sunrise is preparing for its 38th Annual Golf Tournament, scheduled for Monday, November 10, 2025, at Boca Grove Country Club. The event aims to raise funds for local education initiatives, combining a morning of golf with a live online auction. Dr. Steve Alman, Chairman of the tournament, expressed enthusiasm about the new venue, stating that it has generated significant interest. The tournament will benefit both the Rotary Club of Boca Raton Sunrise Foundation and the Boca Raton Chamber of Commerce's Golden Bell Education Foundation.
This year, the club will honor Chuck Stout, Chair of the Golden Bell Education Foundation, for his contributions to education and youth development in Boca Raton. Stout's leadership has supported local schools and students, aligning with Rotary's principle of 'Service Above Self.' The tournament will also feature a live online auction, accessible at sunrisegolf.givesmart.com, with items such as an Eddie V's Prime Seafood package, FAU football tickets, a golf foursome at The Boca Raton, and an autographed book by Rock & Roll Hall of Famer Dion.
Sponsors include Alman & Katz Dentistry and The GOLS Foundation. Sponsorship opportunities range from $10,000 for Event Title Sponsor to $2,000 for Silver Sponsor, with additional options for drinks, golf shirts, and more. Golfers can register as a foursome for $1,400 or as a single player for $350, and guests may attend the barbecue dinner and drinks for $55. More information and registration are available at the same website.
The Golden Bell Education Foundation, founded in 1991, has invested over $2 million in Boca Raton's public schools, supporting more than 1,200 classrooms with programs focused on business skills, career exploration, and workforce readiness. The Rotary Club of Boca Raton Sunrise, a community service organization, supports youth programs, scholarships, and community development through events like this tournament and its Teacher of the Year awards.
