Rooted Wellness Retreats has opened applications for its upcoming 6-day functional medicine immersion in Kona, Hawaii, scheduled for February 26 through March 3, 2026. Limited to just 12 participants, the retreat is designed to restore the body, reignite the spirit, and reset life through lived experience rather than theory. Guests will stay in an ocean-view home with a pool and sauna, steps from the beach, and enjoy chef-prepared organic meals, daily education, and one-on-one care.
The program includes 15 hours of integrative health education led by Lyndsay Smith, BSN RN, a medical professional with over 20 years of experience. Participants will receive a private 1:1 case review to address their unique health stories. Chef Ty, a culinary artist and chocolate maker, will prepare 12 organic meals designed to support nervous system healing. Licensed bodyworker and spiritual teacher Jamie will offer optional somatic support sessions for nervous system regulation. Airport pickup, drop-off, and local transportation are included.
Rooted Wellness Retreats emphasizes that this is not a lecture-based program but an immersive experience that rewires how participants live, eat, rest, and think. Each day builds momentum with education in the morning, nourishment and rest in the afternoon, and reflection in the evening. Past participant Kaley S. noted, “This retreat was the reset I didn’t know I needed. I left feeling clear, energized, and truly supported.”
Investment ranges from $1,750 to $2,550 depending on room selection, which includes king ocean-view suites, private queen rooms, shared twins, or a queen Murphy option. Airfare is not included, but the retreat suggests that roundtrip flights from Seattle to Kona are often under $400 during Black Friday sales. Applications are open at RootedWellnessRetreats.org.
This retreat matters because it offers a rare, personalized approach to functional medicine in a luxurious setting, addressing root causes of health issues with comprehensive support. With only 12 spots available, it provides individualized care that is often lacking in larger wellness programs, making it a significant opportunity for those seeking transformative health changes.
