Rita Case, president and CEO of Rick Case Automotive Group, has donated $2 million to Cleveland Clinic Weston Hospital to support research, education, patient care, programmatic and capital needs. The gift was announced at a ceremony where the hospital unveiled signage for the Rita and Rick Case Corridor, a prominent pathway in the primary multispecialty and ambulatory surgery clinic.
“We have always looked for opportunities to improve the healthcare needs of our community by supporting the growth and advancement of healthcare services and supporting the many healthcare professionals who are truly the unsung heroes,” said Case. “Working together, we can continue to build a thriving and healthy community.”
The donation adds to the Cases' long history of support for the hospital. Since 2016, they have contributed $3,115,500, including a previous gift that named The Rick Case Automotive Group Cafeteria. During hurricanes, the Case family has also opened gas stations at their dealerships exclusively for hospital staff. Case serves on the hospital’s board of directors.
