Redcare Pharmacy N.V. has increased its full-year 2026 revenue guidance for the second time this year, citing stronger-than-expected momentum in prescription (Rx) revenue in Germany. The company now expects Rx revenue in Germany to reach EUR 730 to 760 million, up from the previously guided EUR 680 to 720 million. This represents growth of 45% to 51%, compared with the earlier forecast of 35% to 43%. Total revenue growth guidance for 2026 was raised to 16% to 18%, from 15% to 17%. Non-Rx growth guidance of 10% to 12% and the adjusted EBITDA margin range of 2.5% to 3.0% remain unchanged.
The upgrade follows preliminary figures showing that Rx revenue in Germany grew by 51% year-on-year in September and 56% in the third quarter. September’s performance was particularly notable given the high comparison base from the prior year, when the current Rx bonus was introduced. The company will publish its full third-quarter 2026 figures on October 29, 2026.
“Our growth is backed by strong customer satisfaction: eRx NPS continues to rise, up 6 points year-on-year to 80 in August,” said Olaf Heinrich, CEO of Redcare Pharmacy. The rising Net Promoter Score for electronic prescriptions indicates that customers are increasingly satisfied with the digital Rx process, which is critical as Germany continues its rollout of e-prescriptions.
While Rx revenue remained strong throughout the quarter, non-Rx revenue in Germany rebounded well in August and September after a softer July. Based on preliminary figures, the adjusted EBITDA margin remained flat quarter-on-quarter, benefiting from continued operating leverage. This suggests that the company is managing costs effectively while scaling its prescription business.
The guidance raise matters for several reasons. First, it underscores the accelerating shift to online pharmacies in Germany, where Redcare is a leading player. The strong Rx momentum indicates that patients and doctors are increasingly comfortable with digital prescriptions, a trend that could reshape the pharmacy landscape. Second, the upgrade signals that Redcare’s investments in its eRx platform and customer service are paying off, as reflected in the high and improving NPS. Third, the reaffirmed EBITDA margin guidance despite higher revenue expectations demonstrates operating leverage, meaning the company can grow profitably as it scales. Finally, the raise boosts investor confidence in Redcare’s growth trajectory and its ability to capture market share in a competitive European online pharmacy market.
Redcare Pharmacy, founded in 2001, reported EUR 2.9 billion in revenues in 2025 and serves over 14 million active customers across seven countries: Germany, Austria, France, Belgium, Italy, the Netherlands, and Switzerland. The company offers more than 500,000 healthcare-related products, including OTC drugs, nutritional supplements, beauty and personal care items, and prescription drugs in Germany, Switzerland, and the Netherlands. It has been listed on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange’s Prime Standard since 2016 and is part of the SDAX. The original release can be viewed on www.newmediawire.com.
