Quantum BioPharma Ltd. (NASDAQ: QNTM) (CSE: QNTM) announced that its licensee, Unbuzzd Wellness Inc., will host an investor webinar on October 30, 2025, at 4:15 p.m. ET (1:15 p.m. PT). The webinar is part of Unbuzzd's Regulation D 506(c) offering, aiming to raise up to $5 million. Importantly, this capital raise will not dilute Quantum BioPharma shareholders, as Quantum retains a 20.11% stake in Unbuzzd Wellness as of March 31, 2025, and is entitled to royalty payments on sales of unbuzzd.
The webinar will feature Unbuzzd CEO John Duffy, Advisor Jason Sawyer, Medical Director Dr. Eric Hoskins, and Board Co-Chair Gerry David—former CEO of Celsius Holdings. They will discuss the investment opportunity for unbuzzd, a scientifically proven beverage designed to accelerate alcohol metabolism, restore mental clarity, and reduce hangover symptoms. The session will cover leadership strategy, distribution plans, and include a Q&A segment.
Unbuzzd is an over-the-counter product originally developed by Quantum BioPharma and later spun out to Unbuzzd Wellness, led by industry veterans. Quantum BioPharma retains the rights to develop pharmaceutical versions of similar products. The royalty agreement stipulates that Quantum receives 7% of unbuzzd sales until total payments reach $250 million, after which the royalty drops to 3% in perpetuity.
Quantum BioPharma focuses on treatments for neurodegenerative, metabolic, and alcohol misuse disorders. Through its subsidiary Lucid Psycheceuticals, it is developing Lucid-MS, a patented compound that aims to prevent and reverse myelin degradation in multiple sclerosis.
