Quantizr, an AI-powered financial operations platform for the live entertainment industry, has secured $5 million in seed funding. The round was led by TTV Capital, an early investor in Bill.com and Greenlight, with participation from music industry veterans Jonathan Azu of Culture Collective, Chris Kappy of Make Wake Artists, and Andy Levine of Sixthman and Topeka.
The funding will accelerate Quantizr's mission to modernize financial management for touring artists. The platform uses artificial intelligence to extract financial data from business documents such as offers, contracts, budgets, and expenses, organizing them into a structured, live workflow. This gives artist managers and their teams a real-time view of profitability and cash flow while on the road.
Recently, Quantizr expanded its offering with Quantizr Tour Financials (QTF), a feature that provides a real-time financial dashboard during tours. QTF enables artist teams to monitor tour performance, identify potential margin erosion, and make faster, more informed decisions. By centralizing fragmented financial information, Quantizr aims to reduce manual data entry and the risk of errors, allowing teams to focus on creative and logistical aspects of touring.
The live entertainment industry has long struggled with outdated financial tracking methods, often relying on spreadsheets and manual reconciliation. This can lead to delayed insights and missed opportunities to optimize tour economics. Quantizr addresses these challenges by offering a single operating view that helps artist teams understand profitability, protect margins, and respond swiftly to changing circumstances.
“The live entertainment industry is ripe for innovation, and Quantizr is at the forefront of bringing AI-driven financial clarity to artist teams,” said a spokesperson for TTV Capital. “We are excited to support their growth as they redefine how tour finances are managed.”
Quantizr's platform is designed to be user-friendly, allowing non-financial staff to access critical financial data without needing extensive accounting knowledge. This democratization of financial information empowers all stakeholders, from tour managers to artists, to engage with their financial health proactively.
With the new capital, Quantizr plans to expand its team, enhance its AI capabilities, and onboard more artist teams. The company is also exploring integrations with other tools used in the live entertainment ecosystem to provide a seamless experience.
As touring resumes on a global scale post-pandemic, the demand for efficient financial operations has never been greater. Quantizr's solution comes at a crucial time, enabling artist teams to navigate the complexities of modern touring with confidence and agility.
