Pride Holdings Group (OTC: PHSE) announced the upcoming launch of Pride Cell, a mobile communications brand created with Perch Mobile, according to a company announcement distributed through NEWMEDIAWIRE. The service, which will run on the AT&T network, is intended to give the LGBTQ+ community nationwide wireless connectivity while serving a broader strategic role inside the company's growing consumer holdings.
The launch matters because it marks a shift in how Pride Holdings Group plans to reach its audience. Over the past year, the company has assembled a portfolio of LGBTQ+-oriented hospitality, nightlife, entertainment and lifestyle businesses through acquisitions. That effort has pushed total assets toward the $100 million mark in 2026, a figure management has cited as evidence of durable, asset-backed value rather than speculative growth. Pride Cell adds something those venues cannot: a recurring, everyday consumer relationship that is not tied to a single location, event or season.
Rather than operating as a standalone product line, Pride Cell is designed to act as a connective layer across the company's portfolio. Because a mobile subscription is used daily, management believes it can introduce customers by default to Pride Holdings Group's venues, events, media and membership offerings through account-level perks, cross-brand promotions and loyalty benefits built directly into the service. Each subscriber represents an existing, ongoing relationship rather than a new audience that must be built from scratch, which management expects could lower the cost of introducing customers to newly acquired or newly launched brands.
The company has drawn a comparison to the way two computer giants once used their operating systems to market software brands, suggesting it sees premium cell phone service as a distribution channel for its brands nationwide. That framing positions Pride Cell less as a telecom venture and more as infrastructure for cross-selling an entire lifestyle portfolio.
"Our goal is to build Pride Holdings Group into much more than a collection of individual businesses," said Tim Majors, Interim CEO of Pride Holdings Group. "We are developing an ecosystem of brands that can connect with our community in everyday life. Pride Cell gives us an opportunity to enter the mobile communications market with a brand that represents our community while creating another potential recurring-revenue business for Pride Holdings Group."
Perch Mobile Inc., which provides the wireless platform and operational infrastructure for partner-branded services, will support the launch. "Wireless service creates a relationship with the customer every single day," said Paul Harkins, Chairman of the Board of Perch Mobile Inc. "By combining Perch's mobile infrastructure and operating platform with Pride Holdings Group's brands and community reach, we have the opportunity to build Pride Cell into more than a wireless service."
For investors, the announcement signals a possible new recurring-revenue stream and a lower-cost customer acquisition channel layered on top of physical venues. For the LGBTQ+ market, it points to a branded service that ties everyday connectivity to community-focused businesses. The company also noted steps to strengthen its capital structure and align management with shareholders, including returning a meaningful percentage of outstanding shares to treasury and open-market share purchases by management. Forward-looking statements in the announcement remain subject to risks and uncertainties that could cause actual results to differ materially.
