Founded by Laurie-Ann Peacock, Pretty as a Peacock specializes in custom color and precision cuts. Services include grey coverage and blending, custom highlights, root smudging and melts, and haircuts for men, women, and children. The salon also offers select updos for weddings and proms, as well as facial waxing. Each appointment begins with a consultation to understand the client's lifestyle and preferences, ensuring the final look enhances natural beauty while fitting daily routines.
The salon uses Leyton House, a premium natural hair color line from Australia derived from flowers. Known for its long-lasting tones and reduced fading, the product line provides vibrant results while being gentle on the hair. Additionally, styling products from WOW, REF, and L'anza are used to achieve professional results that extend beyond the salon visit.
The experience at Pretty as a Peacock is designed to be unhurried and personalized. Clients are offered complimentary beverages such as wine, soda, coffee, water, or chai tea upon arrival.
