The AgriCultural Museum & Arts Center in Boerne, Texas, will celebrate its 40th anniversary with the Power of the Past Festival on Saturday, March 7, 2026. This free, family-friendly event will showcase vintage vehicles, antique tractors, live music, heritage cooking demonstrations, and living-history exhibits across the museum’s open-air grounds.
“The AgriCultural blends history, creativity and community, preserving Hill Country traditions while welcoming music, art, food and family memories,” said Tori Bellos, Marketing Specialist at Visit Boerne.
Featured attractions include historic engines, vintage cars, trucks, and antique tractors. Re-enactors from the Frontier History Company Foundation will demonstrate turn-of-the-century pioneer life, while a blacksmith works all day in the blacksmith shop. Visitors can tour the Big Red Barn to see collections of historic farming equipment, tools, and an extensive display of vintage farm toys.
The festival runs from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at 102 City Park Road, Boerne, TX 78006. Gates open at 8:00 a.m. Admission is free, with donations welcome. Highlights include a Vintage Car & Truck Show open to vehicles 40+ years old (on-site registration $40 includes an event T-shirt), an Antique Tractor & Engine Display with free registration, live music by Flashbacks Band from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., and a Bluegrass Jam in the Pioneer House from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. An awards ceremony will present trophies for Top 30 Vehicles, Best of Show Car & Truck, and categories for tractors, engines, and antique equipment.
Living-history demonstrations will feature heritage cooking, blacksmithing, and woodworking. Food and craft vendors include Johnny Naan’s Pizza, Stoltze’s BBQ, and craft beer by Cibolo Creek Brewing Co. Personalized drawings by Texas’ official character artist, Jerry Cardona, will be available, along with 40th-anniversary t-shirts.
The AgriCultural Museum & Arts Center, formerly the Agricultural Heritage Museum, is a living-history campus featuring a blacksmith shop, woodworking shop, Pioneer House, wagon house, main museum building, and extensive outdoor exhibits of antique farm machinery and implements. Regular programs include twice-monthly Bluegrass Jams (2nd & 4th Saturdays), semi-weekly art workshops with the Hill Country Council for the Arts, antique tractor pulls, an annual pumpkin patch, and more.
