The PNE Group has been awarded a contract for the 'Oinville-Saint-Liphard' wind farm in France, succeeding in the eleventh tender under the PPE2 programme. The project, located in the Centre-Val de Loire region, comprises four wind turbines with a total capacity of 22 MW. PNE France was one of eleven winning developers among 39 awarded projects, which collectively represent 808 MW of capacity. The tender round saw 144 bids totaling 2.38 GW, highlighting the competitive nature of France's renewable energy market.
Roland Stanze, Chief Operating Officer of PNE AG, expressed satisfaction with the outcome, stating, 'We are very pleased that we were able to prevail in a highly competitive tender. This once again demonstrates the excellent work being done by our French team on the ground.' The success follows closely on the heels of the sale of the 'Romescamps' wind farm, marking a strong period for the company in one of its most important core markets.
The tender round resumed after a nearly one-year pause, following the July 2025 tender where PNE France secured the 'Chery' and 'Romescamps' projects. The French government announced the relaunch in early April 2026, shortly after publishing the multiannual energy plan PPE3. The timing proved favorable for PNE, as the 'Oinville-Saint-Liphard' wind farm received approval in May, just in time for submission. The approval process was notably efficient, taking only 15 months.
This achievement underscores PNE Group's strategic focus on France as a core market and its ability to navigate competitive tender processes. The PNE Group, listed on the SDAX, has over 30 years of experience as a project developer in onshore wind energy. The company focuses on developing wind and photovoltaic projects worldwide, as well as generating power through its own wind farms. Its portfolio spans all project phases, from site investigation and permitting to financing, construction, operation, and repowering. As a Clean Energy Solutions Provider, PNE also offers services for the entire lifecycle of wind farms and photovoltaic plants, along with battery storage solutions to enhance renewable energy efficiency.
