The Paluxy Music Fest is set to take over Glen Rose, Texas, from Friday, May 22 through Sunday, May 24, offering three days of free live music across the city. Organized by the City of Glen Rose, the festival aims to provide a family-friendly Memorial Day weekend destination for music lovers from across North Texas, while highlighting local businesses, artists, and venues.
Performances will take place at multiple locations, including the Historic Square, Snyder's Tavern Lawn Stage, Texas Amphitheater, Sexton Feed Mill, Glen Rose Brewing Company, and H&H Supply Company. The lineup spans a variety of genres, with country and Americana acts on Friday and Saturday, and a transition to jazz and blues on Sunday. Notable performers include Kevin Fowler at the Texas Amphitheater on Saturday at 9 p.m., and the School of Music at University of North Texas on Sunday at 11 a.m. at the Historic Square.
In addition to music, the festival will feature vendor booths on the Historic Downtown Square on Saturday and Sunday, offering shopping, local businesses, artisan goods, and community organizations. All concerts are free to attend, with free parking throughout downtown Glen Rose. Parking at the Texas Amphitheater is available for $10 during concert performances, and shuttle transportation will be provided during portions of the weekend to help attendees travel between venues.
