NW Legacy Law Supports Ronald McDonald House of Oregon and SW Washington

The estate planning lawyers at NW Legacy Law have demonstrated their commitment to community support by partnering with Ronald McDonald House Charities of Oregon & SW Washington. On Saturday, October 4, the firm's legal team and their families participated in a fundraiser aimed at raising awareness and funds for the local branch of the charity, which provides a home away from home for families with seriously ill children undergoing treatment in local hospitals.

NW Legacy Law made a significant financial contribution to the Ronald McDonald House, in addition to donating time to help organize the event. Tania Gitch, chairperson for the governing board of Ronald McDonald House in Oregon, coordinated the fundraiser. The Ronald McDonald House offers free lodging to families, saving them from spending hundreds or thousands of dollars on hotel fees while their children receive medical care.

This partnership aligns with NW Legacy Law's core values of compassion and advocacy. As estate planning attorneys, the firm helps clients prepare for the future through wills, advanced directives, and investment strategies to avoid probate. The firm's involvement with the Ronald McDonald House reflects its dedication to supporting families during emotionally challenging times.

Founded by Thomas Hackett, NW Legacy Law has grown from a solo practice with one paralegal to a team of four estate planning attorneys, along with paralegals, client intake specialists, and other staff. The firm is based out of Vancouver's historic Officers Row, conveniently located off Interstate 5. NW Legacy Law is currently accepting new estate planning and probate clients, and is committed to helping families navigate legal issues after the loss of a loved one.
