NW Legacy Law Sponsors Franklin Street Halloween Celebration

NW Legacy Law, a Vancouver-based estate planning firm, has announced its sponsorship of Holidays on Franklin, a community Halloween event featuring a pumpkin sale and lights display. The event, organized by sisters Grace and Lucy Sherman, runs throughout October and culminates in a large-scale trick-or-treating experience on Halloween night.

Last year, Franklin Street attracted over 12,000 trick-or-treaters, a record the sisters hope to surpass this year. The display has garnered international recognition, with coverage in media outlets across the United States, Spain, and Ecuador, according to Grace Sherman.

The lights and animatronic attractions are on display nightly from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. throughout October. On Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays, the display features special effects, music, and surprise guests. Popcorn and pumpkins are available on sale nights. Trick-or-treating is scheduled for Halloween from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m., welcoming children of all ages.

NW Legacy Law, along with other sponsors like the Today Foundation and Pacific Northwest Fundraising, helps sustain the event. Pets are allowed on leashes, and the neighboring church sells food and beverages to benefit the Boy Scouts of America.

Thomas Hackett founded NW Legacy Law, which has grown from a small practice to a team of four estate planning attorneys and support staff. The firm, located near Franklin on Vancouver's historic Officers Row, specializes in estate planning and probate, assisting families with legal matters after the death of a loved one. They are currently accepting new clients.
