Noble Minerals Gears Up for 3,000-Meter Drill Program at Lucas Gold Project, Backed by $215,000 Ontario Grant

Noble Mineral Exploration is preparing a 2,500- to 3,000-meter drill program at its Lucas Gold Project near Timmins, Ontario, supported by a $215,000 Ontario grant, to test high-priority gold targets and potentially expand a known mineralized trend.

Noble Minerals Gears Up for 3,000-Meter Drill Program at Lucas Gold Project, Backed by $215,000 Ontario Grant

Noble Mineral Exploration Inc. (TSX-V:NOB, FRANKFURT: NB7, OTCQB:NLPXF) is advancing its drill-ready Lucas Gold Project, located approximately 30 km north of Timmins, Ontario, with a planned 2,500- to 3,000-meter diamond drill program. The company announced that a $215,000 Ontario Junior Exploration Program (OJEP) grant has been awarded to support the project. The program's significance lies in its potential to confirm and expand a known gold mineralized structure that has seen no work since 2018, while also testing five untested induced polarization (IP) anomalies that could host additional gold mineralization.

The Lucas project sits in a world-class mining jurisdiction: Timmins has produced more than 75 million ounces of gold, and the nearby Kidd Creek Mine is celebrating 58 years of continuous production with over 150 million tonnes of ore. The project is also about 20 km east of the Crawford Nickel Resource being developed by Canada Nickel. Full industry services, supplies, and infrastructure are available in Timmins, with access via paved Highway 655, and ample power and water. Noble has a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) in place with local First Nations. A general location map with local infrastructure is available Click here to see Figure 1: General Location Map with Local Infrastructure.

In 2018, Noble completed 15 NQ-size diamond drill holes totaling 3,184 meters, covering approximately 650 meters of strike length of a 1,700-meter gold mineralized structure identified from 2012 and 2018 airborne electromagnetic and differential magnetic surveys. The company located 37 historical drill-hole collars and twinned three of them. No further work has been done since 2018. The Lucas Gold Project hosts six discrete untested IP anomalous trends, only one of which has been investigated by diamond drilling. Gold mineralization is interpreted as structurally controlled and occurs as discrete lenses stacked within a pyrite-plus-gold mineralized tuffaceous unit. A plan of IP zones projected to surface with 2018 drill collars and magnetic background is shown Click here to see Figure 4: Plan of Induced Polarization Zones Projected to Surface with Collars of 2018 Drilling and Magnetic Background.

The upcoming drill program will require the establishment of a winter road for access, which needs time to develop a stable, deep frozen base for heavy equipment. This logistical step underscores the remote nature of the project, but also the commitment to advance it. The program aims to further define gold mineralization on IP Anomaly A and test the other five undrilled IP anomalies for similar gold mineralization. Historical gold intersections from the 2018 program are detailed in two parts: Click here to see Part 1 of Table 1: Gold Intersections from Noble’s 2018 Drill Program (True width not known at this time) and Click here to see Part 2 of Table 1: Gold Intersections from Noble’s 2018 Drill Program (True width not known at this time).

The development of the Lucas Gold Project is divided into three phases: Phase 1 – establish gold grade and extend the gold mineralized strike length to approximately 1,700 meters; Phase 2 – establish and verify gold mineralization in additional parallel IP anomalies; and Phase 3 – geological modelling and NI43-101 resource definition.
