No Such Place Multiplayer Demo Launches for Steam Next Fest

Crit Team, an independent studio under ChillyRoom Game, has announced that a public multiplayer demo for their upcoming top-down PvE extraction shooter, No Such Place, will be available on Steam starting June 15, 2026, ahead of Steam Next Fest. The demo provides access to the game's early progression and supports both solo play and 1–4 player online co-op, with partial progression data carrying over into the full release.

In No Such Place, players assume the role of agents from the U.R.C. — Unknown Research Consortium — a mysterious organization dedicated to investigating supernatural anomalies erased from known history. Dispatched into fragmented dimensions, players must survive hostile environments, gather supplies and intelligence, and locate an extraction point before time runs out. The game emphasizes survival, with threats ranging from monstrous entities to rival agents and deranged survivors.

Key features include a flexible weapon customization system that allows players to attach incompatible parts, such as a motorcycle suppressor to an assault rifle or a Victorian brass scope on modern military hardware, thanks to corrupted technology. Players can also grow stronger across multiple progression paths, with physical attributes and weapon proficiencies improving through survival. Resources recovered during expeditions can be used to build and upgrade the player's Safehouse, providing a foundation for future missions.

The demo supports English, Japanese, and Chinese, with both single-player and online co-op modes. Crit Team has also released a multiplayer trailer on YouTube showcasing the game's cooperative gameplay. The full release of No Such Place is expected in Q4 2026, and players can wishlist the game on Steam now.
