Niqo Robotics Expands AI Weeder Lineup with 50-Foot RoboWeeder F50 for Specialty Crops

Niqo Robotics, the physical AI company building the intelligence layer for farm machines, is expanding its U.S. lineup of AI weeding robots with the RoboWeeder F50, which the company says is North America's widest hooded AI weeder. The new model has a 46-foot working width extendable to 50 feet, giving large-scale specialty crop growers a wider option than the company's existing 20-foot flagship RoboWeeder and 24-foot F24. The F50 will be unveiled at FIRA USA 2026, taking place October 20-22 in Yakima, ahead of its planned 2027 commercial release. The announcement matters because it gives U.S. growers a wider choice of models tailored to different farm sizes and crop types, addressing a key barrier to adoption of automated weeding technology.

Every machine in the lineup runs on Niqo's proprietary AI, which the company claims now trains faster than any other system in the industry. According to Niqo, it can deploy a working algorithm for a new crop overnight with more than 85% accuracy, then refine it to 99.6% commercial accuracy within weeks. That speed allows Niqo to build machines 'localized to the zip code,' matched to local crops, farm sizes, and field conditions. For growers, this means faster adaptation to new crops and regional differences, potentially reducing the time and cost of integrating automation into their operations. The company's approach contrasts with subscription-based models, as Niqo sells its machines without a subscription, which could lower long-term costs for farmers.

The RoboWeeder robots use Niqo Sense, the company's AI, to identify crops and weeds plant by plant, handling precision weeding, thinning, and beneficial spraying in a single pass. This multi-function capability could reduce the number of field operations and labor requirements, important considerations for specialty crop producers facing labor shortages and rising input costs. The expansion of the lineup to three models, from small and midsize farms to large operations, positions Niqo to serve a broader segment of the market. The F50's wide format is particularly suited to large operations seeking to cover more ground quickly, while the smaller models offer flexibility for diversified farms.

Growers attending FIRA USA 2026 will get a first look at the F50 before its 2027 commercial release. More details about the announcement, including downloadable images and bios, are available through the full announcement. Niqo Robotics, which builds its machines to fit local conditions, sells its robots directly and provides additional information on its website at https://niqorobotics.com. The company's expansion reflects growing interest in physical AI for agriculture, where machines must operate reliably in changing, real-world conditions. By offering a range of working widths and a subscription-free model, Niqo aims to make precision weeding more accessible and scalable for U.S. specialty crop growers.
