Naturally Amish has entered a binding agreement to acquire the existing 3096 West Maumee Street property in Angola, Indiana, along with three additional parcels, expanding its footprint from approximately 1.6 acres to about 4 acres. The $3 million acquisition includes a Marathon gas station and a Subway restaurant and builds on the company's 2025 announcement, issued through Simulated Environment Concepts, Inc. (OTC: SMEV), to establish a sustainable-living retail location at the site. The decision to secure the extra parcels was deliberate, giving Naturally Amish room to grow without being constrained by the original smaller footprint.
The strategic rationale is clear: rather than developing the initial 1.6 acres and risking being boxed in as the business expands, the company opted to acquire the additional land now. Management believes this preemptive move provides the flexibility to scale operations over time without disrupting an established location or relocating its customer base. The expanded site will accommodate a planned coffee shop, Natural Deli, retail store, future restaurant, bakery, and additional Farm-to-Table operations. Once completed, Naturally Amish expects the acquisition to generate approximately $3 million in annual revenue starting in 2027, with the larger property creating significant capacity for future growth.
“This acquisition gives us the foundation to take what we originally envisioned at 3096 West Maumee Street and build something much larger,” said Noah Wagler, Co-Founder and CEO of Naturally Amish. “We selectively acquired the additional parcels because we didn't want to limit our growth. The additional acreage gives us the ability to expand much quicker and create a destination that can showcase everything Naturally Amish is building.”
The transaction has been supported by the strategic investment and business relationships of Menno Wagler, whose connections and long-term perspective helped Naturally Amish identify opportunities for future growth. “Menno has been instrumental in helping us think beyond the immediate opportunity and focus on where Naturally Amish needs to be five and ten years from now,” Wagler added. “His strategic investment and relationships have helped us make moves today that can prevent us from having to make much more expensive moves tomorrow.”
The deal is binding, with the parties expecting to complete the final definitive agreement within approximately three months. Naturally Amish anticipates beginning renovation of the existing facility immediately, with an initial launch in Q1 2027, followed by continued expansion of the approximately four-acre property throughout 2027. The company also expects to book revenues in Q4 of this year from this transaction. For more information, visit www.NaturallyAmish.com or see the original release on www.newmediawire.com.
This acquisition matters because it demonstrates Naturally Amish's commitment to vertical integration and sustainable growth. By securing additional land now, the company positions itself to capture rising consumer demand for regenerative agriculture and farm-to-table products. The expected $3 million in annual revenue from this location alone highlights the potential of the direct-to-consumer strategy. Furthermore, the involvement of Menno Wagler underscores the importance of strategic partnerships in scaling a mission-driven business. As Naturally Amish expands its physical presence, it also advances its broader vision of transparency, sustainability, and community education, setting a benchmark for ethical consumer practices in the retail food sector.
