Comedian Nathan Macintosh is set to make his debut at The Riot Conroe with two performances on Friday, October 9 and Saturday, October 10, 2026. The shows mark his first appearance at the comedy club's Conroe location, though he has performed multiple times at The Riot in Houston. The Friday show begins at 7:30 p.m., followed by a 7:00 p.m. show on Saturday.
The announcement matters because it signals growing demand for live comedy outside major urban centers and gives audiences north of Houston a chance to see a nationally recognized headliner without traveling into the city. Macintosh's profile has risen steadily through appearances on CONAN, The Late Show with Stephen Colbert and The Tonight Show, as well as being named one of Variety's "10 Comics to Watch" in 2024. His fast-paced stand-up tackles technology, money, relationships and the increasingly strange parts of modern life, subjects that have helped him build a large online following through clips and specials like 'Money Never Wakes' and 'Down With Tech.'
For The Riot Conroe, hosting an artist of Macintosh's caliber represents a significant booking that could elevate the venue's reputation among touring comedians and comedy fans. "I've done The Riot in Houston a few times, so I'm looking forward to checking out the Conroe room," Macintosh said. "New room, new crowd. It should be a fun couple of nights." That enthusiasm reflects a broader trend of comedians expanding their tours to secondary markets where audiences are eager for high-quality live entertainment. The Conroe dates add another Texas stop to Macintosh's touring schedule, reinforcing the state's status as a key market for stand-up comedy.
