MediKeeper, a leader in corporate health management solutions, has announced that its Chief Health and Strategy Officer, Dr. Tyler Amell, will be a featured speaker at several prestigious health and employee benefits conferences across North America and Europe. The tour begins Aug. 25 in Scottsdale, Arizona, and includes stops in Halifax, Nova Scotia; Edinburgh, Scotland; and New Orleans, Louisiana. Dr. Amell will deliver keynotes, workshops, and breakout sessions focused on best practices in workplace health and productivity.
“It is a great honor to be asked to deliver keynotes, plenary, breakout or workshop presentations that are of importance to conference attendees and organizers alike,” said Dr. Amell. “There is so much good evidence out there, and such critical need for unbiased, outcome-based information to help guide employee health and wellness programming, that I am pleased to play a small role in the conference education experience of so many people.”
Dr. Amell’s first engagement is at the International Society of Certified Employee Benefits Specialists (ISCEBS) Symposium in Scottsdale, Arizona, where he will deliver a keynote on workplace health as a strategic imperative for organizations. The symposium, held Aug. 23-26, gathers credentialed benefits professionals from across North America.
Following his appearance in Arizona, Dr. Amell will travel to Halifax, Nova Scotia, to speak at the 59th annual Canadian Employee Benefits Conference from Aug. 30 to Sept. 2. There, he will present an in-depth workshop on “Living Your Best Retirement from a Preventive Health Perspective,” offering guidance for pension and benefits professionals.
In September, Dr. Amell will head to Edinburgh, Scotland, to address the International Forum on Disability Management (IFDM) on Sept. 22-23. His keynote will cover modern integrated strategies for success in workplace health and productivity, work disability, and return-to-work practices. The IFDM connects international colleagues to address workplace disability and health issues, fostering cross-border learning.
Dr. Amell will conclude his tour in New Orleans at the 72nd annual Employee Benefits Conference (Oct. 25-28), where he will discuss causes of worker burnout, the role of mental health initiatives, low-cost considerations, and best practices for implementation. The conference provides attendees with tools and insights to make informed decisions about employee health, wellness, retirement, and benefits administration.
Dr. Amell is an internationally recognized expert in workplace health and productivity. In addition to his role at MediKeeper, he serves on the executive board of directors of the Wellness Alliance and is on faculty at Pacific Coast University for Workplace Health Sciences.
