MAX Power Mining Expands Saskatchewan Natural Hydrogen Portfolio with New Discovery Milestones

MAX Power Mining Corp. (CSE: MAXX; OTC: MAXXF; FRANKFURT: 89N) has announced a series of milestones that advance the scale and commercial potential of its Saskatchewan-based Natural Hydrogen portfolio. The company reported successful drilling at the Bracken Well, completion of a high-resolution 3D seismic survey at the Lawson Discovery and surrounding area, and identification of a new Lawson-style target 12 km southwest of the original discovery. These developments come on the heels of a recent $20.5 million financing, which is accelerating efforts to position Saskatchewan as a hub for Natural Hydrogen commercialization.

The Bracken Well drilling success is significant as it expands the known footprint of subsurface hydrogen in the region. The company also completed a 3D seismic survey that provides detailed imaging of the geological structures, potentially reducing exploration risk. The new target, located southwest of the original Lawson Discovery, suggests the hydrogen system may be more extensive than previously thought. MAX Power’s district-scale land position in Saskatchewan now includes approximately 1.3 million acres of permits, with an additional 5.7 million acres under application, covering prime exploration ground for large-volume accumulations of Natural Hydrogen.

The company’s Lawson Discovery represents Canada’s first-ever subsurface Natural Hydrogen system confirmed through deep drilling, with data validated by three independent labs. This achievement underscores the potential for Saskatchewan to become a key player in the emerging natural hydrogen industry. The recent financing provides the capital needed to pursue follow-up drilling, testing at Bracken, and expanded seismic programs. Additionally, the company benefits from strong helium pricing dynamics and growing regional energy demand tied to proposed large-scale data center development.

MAX Power is also advancing its portfolio of critical mineral properties in the United States and Canada, highlighted by a 2024 diamond drilling discovery at the Willcox Playa Lithium Project in southeast Arizona, wholly owned by MAX Power’s U.S. subsidiary. The company is committed to responsible exploration and development practices that prioritize environmental stewardship, meaningful community engagement, and strong corporate governance.
