MAX Power Mining (CSE: MAXX) (OTC: MAXXF) (FRANKFURT: 89N) has appointed longtime venture capitalist Andrew "Andy" Bowering as a Special Advisor, strengthening its Advisory Board as the Company advances Canada’s first multi-well Natural Hydrogen drill program and builds its global presence in the sector. Bowering brings more than 30 years of capital markets and mineral development experience, including co-founding Millennial Lithium Corp., sold for C$491 million, and helping guide Prime Mining Corp. through a C$449 million transaction with Torex Gold Resources Inc. He joins an Advisory Board chaired by Brent Dunlop and supported by Bradley S. Sylvester and Tom Sandison, providing MAX Power with geological, engineering and financial expertise as the Company also evaluates strategic options to unlock value from its Willcox Playa Lithium Project in Arizona.
The appointment comes as MAX Power positions itself at the forefront of the Natural Hydrogen sector, a rapidly growing area in the transition to decarbonization. The Company has built a dominant district scale land position with approximately 1.3 million acres (521,000 hectares) of permits covering prime exploration ground prospective for large volume accumulations of Natural Hydrogen. High priority initial drill target areas have been identified for commencement of drilling in Q4 2025. This strategic move underscores MAX Power’s commitment to being a first mover in Natural Hydrogen, which is gaining attention as a potential clean energy source.
In addition to its Natural Hydrogen focus, MAX Power holds a portfolio of properties in the United States and Canada focused on critical minerals. These properties are highlighted by a 2024 diamond drilling discovery at the Willcox Playa Lithium Project in southeast Arizona. The Company is evaluating strategic options to unlock value from this project, which could include partnerships, joint ventures, or other transactions. Bowering’s extensive experience in capital markets and mineral development will be instrumental in guiding these efforts.
Bowering’s track record includes co-founding Millennial Lithium Corp., which was acquired by Lithium Americas Corp. for C$491 million, and advising Prime Mining Corp. through a C$449 million transaction with Torex Gold Resources Inc. His expertise in identifying and developing mineral assets aligns with MAX Power’s goals of advancing its Natural Hydrogen program and maximizing the value of its lithium project.
MAX Power is an innovative mineral exploration company focused on North America’s shift to decarbonization. The Company’s Advisory Board, now strengthened by Bowering’s appointment, provides a wealth of geological, engineering and financial expertise to support its growth.
