Main Event's Grand Opening in Woodbury Threatened by Missing Bowling Pins; Community Hunt Launched

Main Event, the family entertainment center, is set to open its first Minnesota location at Tamarack Hills in Woodbury on August 3. However, a shipment of 10 bowling pins has gone missing, threatening the grand opening. The company has launched a community scavenger hunt from July 19 to July 28 to recover the pins, offering prizes for each pin found.

Participants can visit Main Event's lost pins page daily for clues to the pins' locations around Woodbury. Each recovered pin earns the finder a VIP invite for five and a full year of free games. The ultimate prize, a lifetime of Main Event, awaits whoever finds the Golden Pin.

“We are so excited to bring the Main Event experience to Minnesota, but we need the community's detective skills to help us get our lanes ready for action,” said Michael Frisby, General Manager of the Woodbury Main Event. “We've hidden these pins throughout Woodbury, and we can't wait to see who can track them down and claim their prize before our grand opening on August 3!”

Main Event Woodbury will feature laser tag, bowling, arcade games, a full-service restaurant, and a bar. Menu items include the Buffalo Ranch Chicken Sandwich and Funnel Cake Fries, with drinks like the Cotton Candy Shirley Temple and Margarita Flight. The venue aims to be a high-energy space for families and friends.

The missing pins highlight the logistical challenges of opening a new entertainment center. For complete rules and eligibility, visit the official rules page. Main Event, owned by Dave & Buster's Entertainment, operates over 60 locations in 23 states. The Woodbury location marks its entry into Minnesota, expanding the brand's footprint.
