Loulou Lollipop, a Certified B Corporation known for premium baby essentials, has expanded its Big Dreams sleep collection with the launch of the Big Dreams Swaddle Wrap. The product, available on LoulouLollipop.com and LoulouLollipop.ca, is designed to provide secure, womb-like comfort while allowing baby's legs to move freely, addressing a common struggle for new parents.
The inspiration came from co-founder Angel Kho's own experience as a new mom. Her first daughter needed swaddling for almost six months, but every swaddle on the market failed to keep her arms in. "She always managed to wiggle one arm out — even through the zipper opening — and she'd wake herself up in the middle of the night," Kho recalled. "I even tried elastic bands around the shoulders just to keep her arms in. Looking back, it's almost comical. At the time, I was completely exhausted."
The Big Dreams Swaddle Wrap features a soft, silent, and secure closure that wraps around the baby's torso, providing gentle tension and a cozy, secure feeling. Unlike traditional swaddles, it allows the legs to move freely, similar to a sleep bag, which is better for hip health. The wrap is available in three of the brand's most popular prints and extends the Big Dreams sleep collection, which already includes the award-winning Sleep Bag that earned a 2025 Good Housekeeping Parenting Award, back to the newborn stage.
Safety is a key focus for the product. The Swaddle Wrap is a finalist for the Baby Safety Award of Excellence from the Baby Safety Alliance. The winner is determined by public vote, which means parents have a direct say. Voting is open until September 13, 2026, and takes about a minute at the Baby Safety Alliance's parents' pick page.
Made from TENCEL™ Lyocell fabric, which is derived from wood pulp, the swaddle is buttery-soft and breathable, helping to regulate body temperature for babies who cannot yet do so themselves. The insulation blends 30% TENCEL™ Lyocell with 70% DuPont™ Sorona®, a fiber that replaces part of conventional polyester with plant-based content derived from corn (37%). All Loulou Lollipop nursery essentials, including the Swaddle Wrap, are OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100 certified, meaning every component has been tested for harmful substances.
Kho believes the product's quality will speak for itself. "I truly believe this is a product you'll only need to buy once," she said. "We spent years getting the details right.
