A record-breaking $800,020 Ohio Keno prize has been won by a Clermont County nurse through Lotto.com, marking the largest Keno win on the platform since the game was introduced to the platform earlier this year. The win represents one of the largest lottery Keno prizes ever in the United States, according to the company.
Courtney S., a nurse from Clermont County, claimed the prize following an August 2026 Ohio Keno drawing. She used Lotto.com’s Quick Pick feature to generate her numbers, then replaced two of them with her lucky numbers, 14 and 26—a decision that proved pivotal. She discovered the win before the start of her work shift and spent nearly an hour in disbelief before telling her mother. Her husband only believed it after seeing the winning ticket himself.
Originally a Lotto.com customer for Powerball and Mega Millions, Courtney later discovered Keno through the platform. The $800,020 prize is her largest win to date. She plans to become debt-free and purchase a convertible.
“Stories like Courtney’s highlight what makes the lottery experience so engaging,” said Thomas Metzger, CEO of Lotto.com. “Whether customers come to Lotto.com for Powerball and Mega Millions, order scratch tickets, or discover games like Keno for the first time, our goal is to make it easy and convenient to explore new ways to play. We’re proud to connect new players to these games and generate incremental profits for education in the Buckeye State.”
The win underscores the growing role of online lottery couriers in expanding access to state-run games. Ohio Keno is a draw-style game with multiple daily chances to win. The Ohio Lottery has generated over $35 billion since 1974 to fund K-12 education. Keno is also available through Lotto.com in Massachusetts, Oregon, and Puerto Rico. Customers 18 and older in those jurisdictions can order tickets and manage play via mobile or computer.
Lotto.com operates in 12 jurisdictions, including Arizona, Arkansas, Colorado, Maine, Massachusetts, Minnesota, Nebraska, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Oregon, and Puerto Rico, with expansion plans. The company says it has over 4.5 million customers and has created 12 millionaires through state-run games. It is the only Better Business Bureau Accredited lottery courier service and is certified by Gaming Laboratories International and the National Council on Problem Gambling. In June 2023, Lotto.com introduced its Scratch Tickets, now available in six states.
