LaFleur Minerals Inc. (CSE: LFLR) (OTCQB: LFLRF) (FSE: 3WK0) has upsized its previously announced Listed Issuer Financing Exemption (LIFE) offering to up to $4.5 million, reflecting strong investor demand as the company prepares to restart gold production at its Beacon Gold Mill in Val d'Or, Quebec. The non-brokered private placement, initially announced on Dec. 15, is being conducted alongside a flow-through offering for gross proceeds of up to $1.5 million to fund operations at the Swanson Gold Project, the primary source of mineralized material for the mill.
The Beacon Gold Mill, acquired by LaFleur in a state of readiness, requires only a few equipment upgrades to resume operations. This financing round provides full capital for a production restart targeting up to 750 tonnes per day (tpd) of gold. The mill is located approximately 50 kilometers from the Swanson Gold Project, an advanced-stage exploration asset that will supply feed material. The company expects the restart to occur early in the new year, positioning LaFleur as a near-term gold producer in the prolific Abitibi Gold Belt.
The decision to upsize the LIFE offering follows exceptional demand, with the company removing an accelerated expiry clause that was part of the original terms. The offering is expected to close on or about Dec. 31. This capital injection comes at a time when gold prices are at historic highs, having hit record territory 50 times during 2025 and sustaining levels above $4,000 per ounce for several months. LaFleur's streamlined approach offers investors a simple and affordable way to gain exposure to what many analysts believe is a long-term gold rush.
The Swanson Gold Project, which will be the primary feed source for the Beacon Mill, is an advanced-stage exploration property with significant mineral potential. The flow-through offering will fund ongoing operations and exploration at the project, enabling LaFleur to further delineate resources and extend mine life. The company's technical team, led by Exploration Manager Louis Martin, P.Geo. (OGQ), a Qualified Person under NI 43-101, has reviewed and approved the scientific and technical information in this announcement.
This development marks a critical milestone for LaFleur as it transitions from explorer to producer. The Abitibi Gold Belt is one of the world's most prolific gold-producing regions, and the company's strategy of acquiring a ready-to-operate mill reduces execution risk and accelerates time to revenue. With gold prices remaining elevated and investor appetite for mining equities strong, LaFleur's fully funded production restart positions it to capitalize on favorable market conditions.
