LaFleur Minerals Appoints Three New Directors to Bolster Mining and Capital Markets Expertise Amid Advancement of Swanson Gold Project

LaFleur Minerals Inc. (CSE: LFLR) (OTCQB: LFLRF) (FSE: 3WK0) has announced the appointments of Paul Ténière, Peter Espig and Jeff Swinoga to its board of directors. The move comes as the company accelerates development of the Swanson Gold Project and prepares to restart gold production at the Beacon Gold Mill in Quebec's Abitibi Gold Belt. The new directors bring extensive experience across mining operations, capital markets and corporate leadership, supporting governance and strategic oversight during its next phase of project development and planned production restart in Val-d'Or, Quebec.

Paul Ténière, a seasoned mining executive, has held senior leadership roles at major mining companies and brings deep operational expertise. Peter Espig has a strong background in capital markets and corporate finance, having advised numerous mining companies on fundraising and strategic transactions. Jeff Swinoga contributes significant experience in corporate governance and strategic planning. Their appointments are effective immediately, following the resignations of Preet Gill and Harveer Sidhu from the board on March 15, 2026.

LaFleur Minerals is focused on the development of district-scale gold projects in the Abitibi Gold Belt near Val-d'Or, Quebec. The company's flagship Swanson Gold Project spans approximately 18,304 hectares (183 km²) and includes several gold and critical metals prospects previously held by Monarch Mining, Abcourt Mines, and Globex Mining. LaFleur has consolidated a large land package along a major structural break hosting the Swanson, Bartec, and Jolin gold deposits and several other showings. The project is easily accessible by road, providing direct access to several nearby gold mills, further enhancing its development potential.

The company's fully-permitted and refurbished Beacon Gold Mill is capable of processing over 750 tonnes per day. LaFleur is considering using the mill to process mineralized material from Swanson and for custom milling operations for other nearby gold projects. The planned production restart at the Beacon Gold Mill is a key milestone that could generate near-term cash flow and establish LaFleur as a producer in the region.
