LaFleur Minerals Advances Multi-Pronged Strategy at Beacon Mill and Swanson Gold Project Amid Soaring Gold Prices

LaFleur Minerals Inc. (CSE: LFLR) (OTCQB: LFLRF) is executing a multi-pronged growth strategy centered on restarting operations at its Beacon Gold Mill and advancing the nearby Swanson Gold Project, as detailed in a recent article on IBN. The company, which operates in the prolific Abitibi greenstone belt in Quebec, is leveraging a strong gold market to accelerate development.

CEO and Director Paul Ténière highlighted the significance of recent gold price movements, noting that after reaching US$5,400 per ounce in 2025, gold has been trading in the US$4,500-$5,000 range. This volatility, he said, underscores the importance of LaFleur's strategic acquisitions and experienced management in protecting shareholder value through efficient financing.

The Abitibi greenstone belt is an unrivaled source of gold production, accounting for more than 300 million ounces when historic and current reserves are combined. LaFleur's Swanson Project encompasses 445 mineral claims and one mining lease across 192 square kilometers, with diamond drilling intercepts showing grades of 2.05 g/t Au over 158.25 meters and narrow high-grade results including 121.0 g/t Au over 1.1 meters. The company anticipates potential for additional open-pit gold recovery across the project.

A key component of the strategy is improving logistics between the Swanson Project and the Beacon Mill. LaFleur has been in talks with rail officials to build a new spur that would extend directly from the existing rail line crossing the property to the mill, streamlining ore transport. The Beacon Mill, fully permitted and refurbished, has a capacity of over 750 tonnes per day and is being considered for processing mineralized material from Swanson as well as custom milling for other nearby projects.

The Swanson Gold Project is approximately 18,304 hectares in size and includes prospects previously held by Monarch Mining, Abcourt Mines, and Globex Mining. It is easily accessible by road, providing direct access to several nearby gold mills, further enhancing its development potential. LaFleur's mission is to advance these district-scale gold projects with a laser focus on delivering long-term value.
