LaFleur Minerals Advances Multi-Pronged Growth Strategy at Beacon Mill and Swanson Gold Project

LaFleur Minerals Inc. (CSE: LFLR) (OTCQB: LFLRF) is advancing a multi-pronged growth strategy aimed at restarting operations at its Beacon Gold Mill and developing the nearby Swanson Gold Deposit, according to a recent article highlighting the company's progress. The initiatives are part of LaFleur's broader plan to capitalize on the rich mineral potential of the Abitibi greenstone belt in Québec, which has historically produced over 300 million ounces of gold.

CEO Paul Ténière noted that the past quarter has been extremely active, with gold prices experiencing significant volatility, ranging from US$4,000 to a high of US$5,400 per ounce in 2025, and currently trading in the US$4,500-$5,000 range. This favorable gold market has enhanced LaFleur's prospects, as the company focuses on strategic acquisitions and efficient financing to protect shareholder value.

The company is in discussions with rail officials to improve transit between the Swanson Project and the Beacon Mill, proposing a new rail spur that would extend directly from the existing rail line crossing the property to the mill. This infrastructure upgrade is expected to reduce transportation costs and improve operational efficiency.

LaFleur also anticipates potential additional open-pit gold recovery across the entire Swanson Project, which encompasses 445 mineral claims and one mining lease. Recent diamond drilling intercepts have returned promising results, including 2.05 g/t Au over 158.25 meters, with narrow high-grade intervals such as 121.0 g/t Au over 1.1 meters.

The Beacon Gold Mill, fully permitted and refurbished, has a capacity of over 750 tonnes per day. It is being considered for processing mineralized material from Swanson and for custom milling operations for other nearby gold projects. The mill's proximity to the Swanson deposit, which is easily accessible by road, enhances its development potential.

LaFleur Minerals is focused on district-scale gold projects in the Abitibi Gold Belt near Val-d'Or. The Swanson Gold Project covers approximately 18,304 hectares (183 km²) and includes several prospects rich in gold and critical metals, previously held by Monarch Mining, Abcourt Mines, and Globex Mining. The company has consolidated a large land package along a major structural break that hosts the Swanson, Bartec, and Jolin gold deposits.
