Jupiter Neurosciences Inc. (NASDAQ: JUNS), a clinical-stage pharmaceutical company known for developing JOTROL—an enhanced oral resveratrol formulation with antioxidant and anti-inflammatory effects—has introduced Nugevia, a direct-to-consumer longevity product line. Nugevia MND, a scientifically formulated supplement designed to protect and enhance cognitive function, is expected to account for about 60% of the company's sales by volume.

Jupiter Neurosciences has a deep history in diseases of the brain, thanks to its work developing drugs for central nervous system disorders such as Alzheimer's and Parkinson's. Its supplement business, comprised of Nugevia MND, Nugevia GLO, and Nugevia PWR, builds on its clinical research addressing neuroinflammation, mitochondrial health, and cellular protection.

All Nugevia products are derived from JOTROL, which is designed to deliver therapeutically relevant levels of resveratrol. Jupiter Neurosciences overcame previous bioavailability challenges, achieving about nine times higher absorption and proven CNS penetration. A phase one trial of JOTROL demonstrated blood plasma levels 8-10-fold higher than naïve resveratrol, and the phase two trial focuses on treating Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s, and other CNS diseases. JOTROL has patents in the U.S., Europe, China, Hong Kong, and Japan, protected through 2036.
