iToolShare, a developer of desktop multimedia solutions, has announced a significant update to its iToolShare Blu-ray Player for Windows. The upgrade introduces a standalone 3D Anaglyph playback engine and full support for HDMV and BD-J interactive menus, aiming to provide a complete movie playback experience on Windows 11 and Windows 10 systems. The announcement was made on July 13, 2026, from Broomfield, Colorado.
For physical media collectors and home theater enthusiasts, the update addresses common limitations of generic media players, which often struggle with Java-based disc structures or experience performance issues during high-bitrate decoding. iToolShare's re-engineered multimedia core offers a true "Play Any Disc" solution, with hardware-accelerated playback for commercial Blu-rays, 4K Ultra HD discs, and ISO folders without requiring manual configuration of host certificates.
The centerpiece of the release is the integration of Advanced Blu-ray Menu Navigation, which allows users to interact with complex HDMV and BD-J menus directly from their desktops. Additionally, the new 3D Anaglyph Mode enables real-time red-cyan 3D rendering optimized for standard integrated laptop graphics, eliminating the need for specialized external hardware monitors.
Key features of the update include: universal decoding compatibility for encrypted discs and folders; flawless reconstruction of Java-based interactive menus; real-time 3D depth rendering; optimized HDR10+ to SDR color mapping for non-HDR displays; and enhanced audio stability that resolves legacy initialization conflicts.
"Our engineering focus for this update was to bridge the gap between complex legacy disc structures and modern desktop environments, delivering a highly resource-efficient Windows 11 Blu-ray player," said Tim, Product Lead at iToolShare. "By perfecting BD-J menu navigation and ensuring smooth performance across diverse system architectures, we've built a Blu-ray player app that truly honors the premium experience media collectors expect."
The updated iToolShare Blu-ray Player is compatible with Windows 11 and Windows 10, including support for Windows on ARM ecosystems.
