The announcement comes as reports emerge of peace talks between the U.S. and Iran aimed at ending the conflict. However, threats and counterthreats between the two countries, including warnings that energy infrastructure could be targeted, underscore the need for heightened cyber vigilance. The research, published by cybersecurity firm BioMedWire (BMW), did not name the targeted institution but emphasized the growing threat landscape.
