Interlock Aluminum Wall Cladding Debuts in Whistler Custom Homes

Interlock Roofing Ltd. has introduced a new line of Metal Siding and wall cladding panels, extending its lifetime aluminum system from the roofline to exterior walls. The panels, made from the same heavy-gauge aluminum and finished with the Alunar Coating System, are available in profiles, colors, and trims that match Interlock's roofing products, allowing for a single color-matched aluminum finish across a home's roof and walls.

This expansion addresses compatibility issues that often arise when roof and wall products come from different manufacturers. By using the same material system for all exposed surfaces, Interlock simplifies installation and warranty coverage. The company’s aluminum roofing has been engineered to last the life of a structure, and now the same principles apply to siding.

"Homeowners already trust our aluminum roofing to protect their home for a lifetime," said Scott Plumptree, Director of Marketing at Interlock Roofing Ltd. "Extending that same panel, coating, and color system to siding means the entire exterior performs to one standard and reads as one intentional design."

Interlock Metal Siding is offered in four architectural profiles: Slate, Cedar Shingle, Shake, and Standing Seam. These can be combined within a single color family. The panels are formed from heavy-gauge aluminum and finished with the Alunar Coating System, which includes Cool Roof infrared-reflective pigments to reduce solar heat gain on walls. Non-combustible aluminum construction carries a Class A fire rating, a key feature for properties in wildfire and ember-zone regions.

Aluminum's moisture resistance prevents rot, warp, and cracking through freeze-thaw cycles, while the factory-baked finish resists chalking and fading, eliminating the need for repainting. The system also resists insects and coastal salt-air corrosion. Four-way interlocking panels install over most existing wall substrates by certified installers and require no painting, sealing, or staining throughout their lifespan. The aluminum is largely recycled content and approximately 95 percent recyclable at end of life.

Interlock Metal Siding and aluminum wall cladding are available across the United States and Canada through certified local installers for new construction and re-cladding projects. Recent installations include custom homes in Whistler, British Columbia. For more information, visit interlockroofing.com/siding.
