Three employees from IHOP Hawaii are being honored for their quick thinking and courageous response during a potentially dangerous incident at Town Center of Mililani. Liane, Jourdan, and Brandy, team members at IHOP Mililani, reacted immediately when a random individual set a decorative pineapple on fire in the loading dock area. They extinguished the flames before the fire could spread, preventing damage to the building and surrounding businesses.
The recognition comes as part of the 2025 Pineapple Drop New Year's Eve Celebration, one of Central Oʻahu's most anticipated annual events.
