Ideal Group of Companies, Inc. (OTC: IDGR) has completed the acquisition of the El Quizer Mining Administrative Contract, a fully permitted 675-hectare gold concession in Bolivia's Precambrian Shield, the company announced on June 18, 2026. The move establishes IDGR as an emerging participant in the global precious metals sector at a time when gold and platinum group metals (PGMs) have become structurally indispensable to the world's fastest-growing technology industries.
The El Quizer concession, located in the Nuflo de Chavez Province, Santa Cruz Department, is held under a 30-year mining contract issued by Bolivia's Autoridad Jurisdiccional Administrativa Minera (AJAM), renewable for an additional 30 years. The property is accessible via 185 kilometers of paved highway from Santa Cruz de la Sierra, followed by approximately 11 kilometers of gravel road. All required permits, environmental licenses, and mining registrations are current.
El Quizer sits within the Precambrian Shield, a geological terrane larger than Canada's Abitibi Greenstone Belt, which has yielded over 170 million ounces of gold. In contrast, Bolivia's shield has produced fewer than 10 million ounces, highlighting its underexplored potential. Gold mineralization at El Quizer is of the orogenic greenstone type, comparable to prolific deposits in Canada, West Africa, and Western Australia. The property adjoins the historically producing Puquio Norte Mine, which yielded over 300,000 ounces of gold from surface saprolite between 1996 and 2001. Recent sampling of newly identified veins within El Quizer returned assay values of 4.98 and 8.61 grams of gold per tonne.
Independent estimates indicate primary oxide stockpiles of approximately 8 million metric tonnes at an average grade of 1.0 g/t gold, representing an estimated 210,000 ounces of contained gold. These stockpiles, left in place by former operations, are fully accessible and offer a near-term production opportunity with an estimated 12-year mine life at a processing rate of 2,000 tonnes per day. Additionally, sulfide stockpiles contain approximately 2 million metric tonnes at 0.7 g/t gold, with potential for PGMs and base metals, while virgin primary formations are estimated at 10 million metric tonnes at 2.5 g/t gold, pending drilling. Preliminary analyses also indicate the presence of palladium, iridium, and rhodium, consistent with PGM occurrences documented by the British Geological Survey.
The acquisition comes amid surging demand for precious metals driven by artificial intelligence, high-performance computing, electric mobility, and next-generation communications infrastructure. Gold's electrical conductivity and corrosion resistance make it irreplaceable in advanced semiconductor packaging and CPU bonding wires, with hyperscale AI data centers projected to require over $1 trillion in capital expenditure over the next five years. Central bank gold demand reached 4,740 tonnes in 2022, the highest since 2011, according to the World Gold Council. PGMs such as palladium, rhodium, and iridium are essential for hydrogen fuel cells, catalytic converters, and proton exchange membrane electrolyzers used in green hydrogen production. Defense and aerospace applications also rely heavily on these metals.
Ideal Group is committed to responsible mining practices at El Quizer, including eliminating mercury and cyanide, implementing closed-loop water recycling, using renewable energy, prohibiting indiscriminate deforestation, and engaging with local communities. "The El Quizer acquisition puts us in the right place at the right time," said Charles Cardona, CEO. "We hold a permitted, legally contracted, geologically compelling gold asset in a jurisdiction actively seeking responsible foreign investment—at the precise moment when the metals this property contains have become indispensable to AI infrastructure, clean energy, and advanced manufacturing."
